A New Member of the Arizona’s Millionaire Club
A man, who was fortunate enough to win $100,000 on Powerball right after it started, came up with his second win – and it was a big one. He purchased two Arizona’s Millionaire Club Scratchers tickets from the Fry’s Food Store located at 3255 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, and one of the tickets was a $1,000,000 winner.
Since he shops all the time at the store, he had the clerk scan it to be sure he was correct. Once he had it validated, he went home, signed the back of the ticket and took a picture of the front and back of it.
Our winner is retired from the National Guard as well as from his position handling damage claims for a utility company. He does volunteer work for a food bank and has volunteered at Ronald McDonald House. And now he’ll be able to finish restoring his ’64 Chevrolet. This latest win, since it’s an annuity, will help take stress off of daily living. He’ll receive $40,000 a year (before taxes) for 25 years.
