Arizona Lottery to Distribute $10,000 in Partner Prize Giveaway to Players and a Deserving Winner of Their Choice

PHOENIX (Sept. 9) – What if the power to pick a lottery winner was in your hands? Now, it can be! The Arizona Lottery wants to know who you think deserves to win big and why in the new Partner Prize Giveaway. This special promotion kicks off Monday, Sept. 13 at 12 p.m. and players will have until Sunday, Sept. 19 at 11:59 a.m. to tag the person, organization or charity that they think deserves to win a $500 prize. In total, the Lottery will be awarding $10,000!

“The only thing better than winning the lottery is sharing that win with the person you believe deserves it most,” said Arizona Lottery Executive Director Gregg Edgar. “The Partner Prize Giveaway is a great way to win for yourself, but it’s also a way to share the joy of winning with a deserving friend, family member, organization or non-profit! The Arizona Lottery has always been about giving back to the community and this giveaway is a chance for our players to do the same.”

To enter, players must comment on the Arizona Lottery’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter posts asking, “If you could pick one person to win the lottery, who would it be and why? Tag below!” Then they just tag a friend, organization or non-profit and say why they should win for the chance to win $500 for each party, a total of $1,000 for each pair!

Once the entry period has ended, 10 pairs of nominees/winners will be chosen randomly between Facebook, Instagram and Twitter by a third party from those who made qualified entries. In total, there will be 20 winners statewide, each winning $500.

Winners will be contacted via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter private message within 24 hours of the close of the entry period and will have 24 hours to respond before their prize if forfeited and an alternate winner will be randomly selected.
